KJ Powell is an actor, producer, and writer studying Theatre: Acting at Pepperdine University. KJ is a goal-oriented young man who believes in working hard to achieve his goals. He has earned several awards in the area of Theatre, August Wilson’s Monologue Finalist, Spotlight Award receipt, and a scholarship from the California Educational Theatre Educational Association, to name a few. KJ’s on-screen roles include Nickelodeon “Henry Danger,” CBS “Young Sheldon,” ABC “Station 19”, and Lifetime “The Secret Life of Cheerleaders.” Also, KJ is a producer of the Dr. Tongie Show that focuses on teaching Kingdom Principles that propels others to live a life that has been demonstrative with tangible, precise results.
Originally from Miami, Florida, KJ began his acting career at the age of 14 when his family relocated to Los Angeles, CA. In addition to working in the entertainment industry, KJ values serving the community. He volunteers to help those in need and will one day start a volunteer foundation to give young adults more opportunities to serve the members of the community.
